"With Tang Shou Tao training I feel more connected to my mind and body. I feel stronger, more flexible and 20 years younger. My
mind is calmer and happier and more empowered to meet the challenges of the day. I rarely get sick. I no longer experience food cravings and I actually
eat less food. I sleep deeper and feel more rested in the morning. If there is such a thing as a "second childhood"...this is it!
Tang Shou Tao training increased rather than decrease my energy the more I practiced.
Tang Shou Tao taught me the tools necessary to reclaim and maintain mental clarity and calmness while relaxing and rejuvenating my body."
"Studying at the Sin Lung Kwoon is a lifestyle not a hobby. I have been studying Xing Yi and Qi Gong with Sifu Mike Bingo since 2002. In that time I have gotten to know a teacher who has not only mastered his subject matter but the art of teaching as well. He is the most talented, patient, and highly regarded person I know. His depth of knowledge and experience brings an integrity which cannot be found elsewhere. I have studied with other martial arts instructors in addition to having visited many places in China and have found no one who compares to my teacher, Sifu Mike Bingo.
- Get back what you put in
- Healthier, stronger, mind cleared, more content
- Greater awareness
- Consider myself infinitely lucky that I found the Sin Lung Kwoon and Sifu"
"Qigong and Hsing-I are lifestyle arts containing subtle, abstract ideas not able to be gained from books. Consistent practice and, most importantly, a good teacher are needed to make these complicated ideas tangible. Sifu Mike Bingo is very capable and willing to do this, if you show a desire to learn.
"I have been studying Hsing-I kung fu under the tutelage of Mike Bingo for almost seven years. The principles of Hsing-I, both of physical and philosophical, have become a part of my everyday life. Practicing the postures of chi-gung combined with proper breathing techniques and Hsing-I’s movement drills have helped to form me into a healthier human being who is comfortable in his own skin. Mike Bingo’s teaching style is unique and effective. He follows traditional Chinese teaching methods wherein self-motivation from the student and demonstration of determination are rewarded with additional instruction. One is forced to push oneself without having one’s hand held every step of the way. Hsing-I’s combat techniques have been combat tested over hundreds of years and Mike Bingo has spent his life mastering them. Practice of Hsing-I Chen under Mike Bingo’s guidance will help anyone to become stronger and healthier, and, with an investment of time and effort, will help them to learn a superbly functional and effective mode of self-defense."
"I’m 35 years old. I’ve trained for fighting and fought for the last 29 of those. I boxed as an amateur at the famed “Kronk Gym”, at the highest level, and then transferred to the “House of Pain” to further my career. I was pro for 4 years. I was then sought out by the Yoshin Clan at koryu-ju tai jitsu (close quarter battle field combat). I trained with them for 3.5 years. I then trained in Jeet Kwon Do for 1.5 years. I was offered a black belt from the Self Defense Systems Int’l organization of which I turned down. I say all this not to impress you but to impress upon you that the “Internal Martial Teachings” of Sifu Mike J. Bingo Jr. at the Sin Lung Kwoon is far superior to all listed above."
"Nearly fifteen years of studying martial arts has exposed me to an extremely wide assortment of styles ranging from Americanized mixed martial arts to traditional Chinese kung fu. All of those styles had one thing in common: they each taught me the “what” of martial arts. “What” to do in this situation, “what” to do in that one…albeit in very different ways. Since studying under Sifu Mike Bingo I’ve gotten a chance to learn another version of the “what” this time in the eminently pragmatic and effective manner of Xing Yi. Sifu Mike Bingo reaches beyond that, though. In the Sin Lung Kwoon, you not only learn the “what” of martial arts, but also the “how” and, for the diligent and mindful student, the “why” of martial arts. To me, this is the pinnacle of martial arts training, and I doubt that I could ever be satisfied by another school again.
